How I look after your information
What you share with me stays with me. Here's what I collect, why, and where it's kept, in plain language.
Who I am
Faithful Birth Services is run by Demi Chertova, a doula in Calgary, Alberta. If you have any question about your information, email Send me a note.
What I collect through this website
Only what you choose to send me when you get in touch:
- your name and email address, and your phone number if you share it
- your due month, and whether you're planning a home, hospital or birth centre birth
- anything you write in your message
Please don't send medical details through the website. We'll talk about those privately.
Why I collect it
To reply to you, set up a free consult, and talk about whether we're a good fit. I don't use it for anything else, I never sell it, and I don't add you to any mailing list.
Where it's kept
- Email and the contact form are handled by Google Workspace, in my business Google account. Google may store this information on servers outside Canada.
- The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps basic technical records (such as your IP address) to keep the site running and safe from attacks.
- Fonts on this site load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google when a page opens.
This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.
If you become a client
If we work together, I'll ask for more information, such as your health history and birth preferences, so I can support you well. I'll explain how I keep that confidential in our agreement, and I only share it with others when you ask me to.
How long I keep it
If we don't end up working together, I delete your enquiry when it's no longer needed, usually within a year.
Your choices
You can ask me at any time to see, correct or delete the information I have about you. Just email Send me a note. If you have a concern I can't resolve, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
